Here are some tips on how to use BC2Match effectively:
- Check your Profile.
- Try some different NAICS codes to see if you are missing opportunities. Your dashboard updates in real-time so see what happens when you add and delete codes.
- If you’re a dealer or distributor of products, use the manufacturing NAICS code(s) for those items – feds don’t list assign wholesale/retail NAICS.
- Anticipate that contracting offices you’ve been dealing with may be moving, geographically and even to a different agency or bureau.
- Reach out to contracting officers and contract specialists listed on your opportunities – send them your capability statement, and then send it again once a month so you’re front-of-mind on new orders.
